On the 22nd of September aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy (Vilnius, Lithuania) organizes a learning session taking place in Poland for pilots-beginners. Series named ‘Pilot Talks. Baltic Aviation Academy Seminars & Workshops in Lodz‘ will provide useful information such as finding a right academy to do type rating, preparing for an interview with an airline as well as the latest airline news. Bartlomiej Walas, representative from Bartolini Air, will take part in the session by presenting the Polish aviation market in a larger scale and giving inside information on student pilots already enrolled in some airlines.
Free of charge seminars will be devoted for pilots who are looking to get their type rating and start planning their first jobs in airlines. Theoretical part will include questions how to select an aircraft type, what to look for while choosing a type rating provider and how to prepare for an airline job interview. Throughout the workshop sessions the attendees will try to implement theory in practice, such as create a CV proper for sending it to the airlines for a job interview.
The idea to produce the learning session for pilots was a result of a current turbulence in Polish aviation market, caused by the bankruptcy of OLT Express. Pilots, especially the beginners, look pessimistic towards career opportunities, so our goal is to help them in making decisions regarding the aircraft type and type rating training centre as well as preparation for the job interview. The learning sessions are intended to not only give the theoretical knowledge, but also to help assimilating the new information by carrying out prepared tasks during the workshop. We hope this will give attendees a more optimistic view on how to pursue their career even though market is in a difficult stance‘, commented Inga Jankauskaite, Sales Project Manager at Baltic Aviation Academy.
