An Estonian company has purchased a Cessna Citation Mustang, marking the first time the type has been operated in the country.
2009 build Citation Mustang 510-0186 was originally ordered by Slovenian operator Aviofun, who took delivery of the aircraft new in May 2009. It then flew for Aviofun from its Slovenj Gradec base until the end of April when it was sold as ES-LCC in a deal arranged by French broker AMV Jet.
According to data in FlightGlobal’s Ascend Online Database, there are currently 397 Citation Mustangs in service in 47 countries worldwide.
Just over half the aircraft, some 201 aircraft, are operated by US operators, followed by Brazil with 31 and the United Kingdom with 21. Only 3 other countries operate aircraft in double figures, with Austria having the highest of these with 17 aircraft, followed by Canada and France who both have 12.
