Bahrain is looking forward with keen anticipation to the second edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS), which will take place from 19 – 21 January 2012 at the Sakhir Air Base.
Airshow Organisers Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA) and Farnborough International Limited are delighted to announce that 75% of chalet space at BIAS has already been sold. Amongst the latest companies to join the existing prestigious list of participants are BAE Systems, Bell Helicopter, Boeing, GE Aviation, as well as Bahrain based Comlux Middle East.
Speaking from the European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE) event in Geneva this week, where the team are further promoting BIAS 2012, Captain Abdulrahman Al Gaoud, Undersecretary for Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs, said: “BIAS has secured commitment from a number of high profile, international participants and we are looking forward to welcoming the global aerospace community to Bahrain in January 2012.”
“Comlux Middle East is proud to announce its participation in the Bahrain Airshow. We look forward to further expanding our strong presence and relationship with the Civil Aviation Affairs and the Kingdom of Bahrain ” said Richard Gaona, President - Comlux The Aviation Group.
Amanda Stainer, Exhibitions & Events Director for FIL commented: “Industry feedback after BIAS 2010 was extremely positive and undoubtedly the chalet sales to date reflect our client’s enthusiasm. With so much of our chalet space now sold, still six months from the show, we are looking at new ways of accommodating those companies who wish to have a representation at BIAS 2012. We are exploring a number of innovative ideas, additional to existing sponsorship opportunities, which will fit within the BIAS brand model to accommodate this increasing demand, whilst at the same time retaining our very high level of exclusivity.”
