Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently recognized Svensen Management Services (SMS), its independent sales representative in Australia, for its efforts over the past five years.
The Melbourne-based company has been an authorized sales representative for Gulfstream since 2006, working closely with Jason Akovenko, Gulfstream’s regional vice president, Asia-Pacific, and Roger Sperry, Gulfstream’s regional senior vice president,International Sales, who oversee sales on the continent.
“We are proud of our longstanding relationship with SMS and its founder, Gary Svensen,” Akovenko said. “And we’re delighted to recognize the company’s five years of service as an authorized sales representative for Gulfstream. Since we forged a relationship with SMS in 2006, sales in Australia have steadily grown, surely the result of Gary’s extensive experience and excellent reputation in the local and international business communities.”
“Working with Gulfstream has been a tremendous opportunity for SMS Aircraft,” said Svensen. “We’re excited to recognize this milestone with Gulfstream, especially at this point in the company’s history, with the G250 and the G650 poised to enter the market in 2011 and 2012, respectively.”
Svensen founded SMS 12 years ago for the purpose of negotiating acquisition and sale agreements for business aircraft and other such assets on behalf of both buyers and sellers.
