The large static aircraft display at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) will feature a record number of business jets. Bombardier will exhibit a Learjet 60XR, Challenger CL300, Challenger CL850 and Global Express XRS, whilst Gulfstream will have a G150, G200, G450 and G550 at the show, together with another G450 from Jet Edge. Airbus will display an A318 Elite and Boeing a BBJ; Cessna will exhibit a Citation Sovereign & Citation X and Jetstream International a Citation 560XL. Dassault will showcase the Falcon 2000LX & 7X, Embraer will display the Legacy 650 and Hawker Beechcraft the 4000 & 900XP. Smaller business aircraft on show include the Hawker Beechcraft King Air 350i and Pilatus PC-12. Entry into the static display area at HKBAC will require presentation of a passport or identity card.
Complementing the static display, business aviation professionals are invited to attend the two-day Asian Business Aviation Association event, “Business aircraft in Asia – a buyer’s and operator’s guide” sponsored by Jet Support Services, Inc (JSSI) during on 9th-10th March. To be held in the Conference Room, Hangar 2 at Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre, the aerospace industry’s top global and regional experts will offer their views on the market - Airbus, Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer, Gulfstream, Hawker Beechcraft Corp, JSSI, Merrill Lynch, TAG Asia, Jet Aviation, Hawker Pacific, The ASA Group, Signature Flight Support and Flight Safety International, plus GAMA Vice President Ed Smith. AsBAA will also hold their annual members meeting coinciding with the show.
Media Facilities & Conferences
Rolls-Royce will once again sponsor the media centre, which will be managed by LeadingEdge Communications, with Anthony Phillips heading a 10 person team including Alison Chambers from UK and Simon Tam from Hong Kong. Liz Moscrop from Four Forces Aero is overseeing the ABA Conference, in co-operation with AsBAA and sponsor JSSI.
