Bombardier Aerospace received firm orders for five midsize Learjet 85 and two large cabin Challenger 605 jets, from multiple companies of the same group, for principal operation in Germany by Munich-based Jet Air Flug.
The total value of the order is approximately 5 million US, based on the 2010 list price for typically equipped aircraft.
Deliveries for the 605s are scheduled for late 2011, while the Learjet 85s, (due for certification in 2013), will be delivered around 2014.
Patrick Raftery, Group CEO, Jet Air said: "The Bombardier aircraft were selected following a thorough analysis of customers requirements, our fleet strategy, and fit with our business model. We are delighted with the deal.´ Jet Air Flug already operates a fleet that includes 850s, 604s, and Learjet 60XRs. "Our customers love these aircraft," said Raftery.
