ARGUS International, Inc. (ARGUS) has announced ACM AIR CHARTER Luftfahrtgesellschaft mbH has obtained the coveted ARGUS Platinum Rating along with IS-BAO Stage 1 Registration utilizing ARGUS’ combo audit program. The prestigious Platinum rating is ARGUS’ highest level of safety ratings, and is awarded only to those air charter operators who have demonstrated successful implementation of industry best safety practices relative to their operations and maintenance. Currently, ARGUS has 77 Platinum rated operators and over 300 Gold Plus and Gold rated operators.
“ACM AIR CHARTER has a long and proud history of operational excellence,” stated ACM AIR CHARTER Managing Director, Thomas Minninger. “The ARGUS Platinum rating will provide us with a global extension of our brand visible to charter buyers around the world. I also recognize the growing importance and significance of an IS-BAO registration. When I learned that an ARGUS combination audit could potentially result in a Platinum rating and IS-BAO registration, this represented a great value for my company. I was impressed with the audit process from the ARGUS team, and I am also very proud of my staff at ACM AIR CHARTER for this significant accomplishment”.
The IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations) meet the requirements of the new EASA rules and has been granted official European recognition as an industry safety standard for business aircraft operations. In early 2009, ARGUS announced that they would accept a successful IS-BAO Stage I audit from any qualified IS-BAO auditor, as satisfying the audit requirement of an ARGUS Gold Plus rating. For the coveted Platinum rating, audits would be conducted exclusively by ARGUS auditors.
“ACM AIR CHARTER has long been one of the preeminent charter operators in Europe,” said ARGUS President and CEO, Joseph Moeggenberg. “We are proud to add their name to the exclusive list of ARGUS Platinum rated charter operators based outside of the U.S. I commend the ACM team on their efforts in building such a great operation. Acquiring their Platinum rating and IS-BAO registration through our combination audit, demonstrates ACM’s understanding of business aviation’s growth as a global industry.”
To better serve the buyers and sellers of charter on a real-time basis, ARGUS maintains an exclusive global relationship with Avinode, the world’s largest on-line marketplace for charter services on business aircraft. Customers can view ARGUS rated operators like ACM Air Charter along with all the aircraft listed on www.avinode.com.
