At Russian International Business Aviation Exhibition Jet Expo 2009 VistaJet, European private jet company, reported new records despite the global economic slowdown. According to Thomas Flohr, chairman and founder of the company, VistaJet´s revenues grew 25% in the first quarter of 2009 and its H1 2009 results are up 21 per cent.
August was VistaJet’s busiest month as more than 2,000 customers travelled with the company on over 800 flights worldwide, says the company.

Moscow and Russia are of strategic importance to VistaJet and we continue to invest our aircraft assets heavily in these markets. We are a leader here and fly clients in or out at several times daily. Our Russian customers appreciate the combination between luxury and value, as defined by our business model. They are very brand loyal so even in this downturn, we’re seeing more flights than ever through Russia.”
This year VistaJet is going to take delivery of more aircraft this year including the Learjet 60 XR, Challenger 605, Challenger 850 and Global Express XRS.
