Underlining the importance of the Asia-Pacific marketplace, Bombardier Aerospace will attend the Singapore Airshow 2008. Held from February 19 to February 24, at the brand-new, state-of-the-art Changi Exhibition Centre, more than 30,000 trade visitors from 42 countries are expected to attend this biannual event.
As the Asia-Pacific region continues to show rapid growth in both the commercial and business aviation sectors, Bombardier Aerospace is well positioned to offer the right solutions to meet the needs of airlines and corporate travelers throughout the region. Bombardier’s comprehensive family of business jets is the largest of any Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM). Bombardier Business Aircraft continues to lead the Asia-Pacific market including the Indian sub-continent in both the large and ultra long-range aircraft segments with approximately 68 per cent and 58 per cent of the installed base respectively. With an installed base of over 100 business jets, Bombardier Business Aircraft sees a promising future for the region.
Three of Bombardier’s high-performance business jets will be displayed at the show: the Global Express XRS, the Challenger 605, and the new Learjet 60 XR aircraft, which makes its regional debut in Singapore.
