Sentient Flight Group completed the acquisition of TAG Aviation USA from Switzerland-based TAG Aviation Holding, a deal announced in late October not long after the FAA revoked the charter certificate of TAG Aviation USA subsidiary AMI Jet Charter due largely to foreign ownership issues. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Sentient also announced the formation of the Sentient aircraft management division and tapped former TAG Aviation USA president and CEO Jake Cartwright, as well as the former TAG Aviation USA management team, to lead the division. The company’s new aircraft management group will integrate Sentient’s existing fleet management team and TAG Aviation USA’s aircraft management structure.
