Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer delivered its first Lineage 1000 bizliner to the PATS Aircraft Completions center in Georgetown, Del., on November 16. PATS, a DeCrane Aerospace company, estimates a six-month completion cycle for the first airplane, after which it will be flown back to Embraer’s Sao Jose dos Campos facilities for exterior paint, installation of auxiliary fuel tanks and delivery to launch customer Aamer Abdul Jalil Al Fahim. The airplane will be based at Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. According to Embraer, at least 16 Lineage 1000s are on firm order. The Lineage 1000, above, made its first flight on October 26 at Sao Jose dos Campos.
