European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) 2007 is to open in Geneva, Switzerland today and this is considered to be the event of the day for all European and international business aviation community. The exhibition keeps growing and this year the number of exhibitors and visitors will be much larger than last year as well as the number of the aircraft shown on the static display at the special area of Geneva Airport.
All market leaders and participants, manufacturers, operators, brokers, handlers, airport, service centers, media representatives etc. are to be gathered at Geneva Palexpo when the exhibition starts formally. There are 354 exhibitors and 55 aircraft at the static display; as of May 21, 8,491 visitors were registered already.Bombardier and Cessna are to present the full lines of their business jets, Embraer is to showcase its full-scaled mock-ups of Phenom 100 and 300, Piaggio has announced an agreement with Jetfly to deliver four P.180 Avanti II, Bombardier’s safety seminar – Safety Standdown – is scheduled to make its international debut at EBACE.
