Embraer begins the Brazil Phenom Mock-up Tour, today, in Rio de Janeiro, to demonstrate its new Phenom 100 very light jet. The Company displays a full-scale mock-up of the aircraft in the Riana Taxi Aereo hangar, at Jacarepagua Airport, December 14-22. The event is being held in Brazil for the second consecutive year and is part of the world tour of the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 mock-ups that has already visited the Americas and Europe, as well as Australia.
“Nearly 700 jets from the Phenom family were sold in over 40 countries. In Brazil, sales have also been remarkably successful, because the jet meets the needs and expectations of this market,” said Breno Correa Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales – Latin America, Executive Jets. “The Brazil Phenom Mock-up Tour was heavily visited in 2006 and is an excellent opportunity for the public to personally see the comfort and unparalleled space offered by the Phenom 100.” The tour showcases the spacious interior of the Phenom 100 jet, designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA, with comfortable seats and refined finish work, besides an ample baggage compartment, and a cockpit representing the real model.
After Jacarepagua Airport, the mock-up will be exhibited at Angra dos Reis Airport, December 26 to 30, from where it will move to the Verolme Marina, in the same city, from
January 2 to 6. The final stop for the Brazil Phenom Mock-up Tour is Belo Horizonte, January 10 to 16, 2008, at Pampulha Airport in the ABC Taxi Aereo hangar.
