Dassault Falcon Opens Spares Distribution Centers in Shanghai and Mumbai

(Singapore, February 19, 2008) – Dassault Falcon announced today the opening of a Falcon spares distribution center in Shanghai, China and the signing of an agreement for a spares distribution center in Mumbai, India. The inventory is valued at nearly $ 2.2 million U.S. in Shanghai and $ 1.5 million U.S. in Mumbai and will be in place by the end of March and May respectively. Once in place, Dassault Falcon will have approximately $ 8 million U.S. of Falcon spares in the Asia-Pacific region - nearly double the inventory in region from one year ago. Shanghai and Mumbai will join a regional distribution center in Singapore, where tooling for the Falcon 7X has recently been positioned, and a satellite distribution center in Sydney, Australia.

Similar to Singapore, the inventories in Shanghai and Mumbai will support the current Falcon models based in the area with a main focus on the Falcon 2000, Falcon 900 families as well as the Falcon 7X. The Mumbai facility will be supplemented by the larger inventories held in Singapore and Shanghai.

“Dassault is committed to getting our operators the part they need, when they need it,” said Frank Youngkin, Vice President of Worldwide Spares for Dassault Falcon. “We’ve launched aggressive campaigns to increase service levels, lower prices, extend our spare parts warranty and end supplemental invoicing associated with exchange transactions. We’re now focusing on a dramatic reduction in delivery times.”

The Regional Distribution Center in Shanghai will be managed by Aerospace Products International (API). Dassault Falcon will stock API’s Shanghai bonded warehouse with Genuine Dassault Falcon Replacement Parts. API will be responsible for the import/export services of the spares, shipping and receiving functions and local transportation. API will also accept the core return on behalf of Dassault. These services will be available for both transient and regionally based customers.

The Distribution Center in Mumbai will be managed by DHL. Through their bonded warehouse, DHL, in partnership with Team Aviation, will be responsible for the import/export, shipping receiving and transportation of Genuine Dassault Falcon Replacement Parts to operators from this warehouse. DHL has a long history with Dassault. They provide shipping and customs service for Dassault’s spares distribution center in Le Bourget, France and other related services.

Operators will continue to order parts directly from Dassault’s support hotline. The order will generate a shipment from the correct distribution point for a timely delivery to the operator.

Dassault now has nine worldwide spares distribution points including Teterboro, New Jersey; Wilmington, Delaware, Le Bourget, France; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Dubai, UAE and Johannesburg, South Africa.
