Jun 12, 2024 · My Laptop doesn’t even turn on when connected to power Okay, so I noticed the model of nitro 5 I had did not have a page dedicated to it, so I decided to make one. I have 19v to first mosfet drain but 0v on source. I try switching ram , removing secondary ssd , changing ssd slot, try to boot with battery unpluged, nothing work for me . Unplug the charger and wait for 15-20 min. Took it to techie who said it would cost $250 to diagnose & fix but he did say the power port was wobbly which I decided to replace. I own Acer Nitro 5 (2022 model) with i5-12500h + rtx 3060 6g. when i removed the platform hub cntroller then it went away so i bought a brand new pch and put it on the board and the short came back. Is there anything way to fix it? I have Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58-98PS and it does accept charging through USB-C. rzuucr0
