Sao Jose dos Campos, January 13, 2009 – Embraer will showcase, for the first time in India, the cabin cross-section of the ultra-large Lineage 1000 executive jet, January 19-23, at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel, in the city of Mumbai. At the same time, it will also exhibit a fullscale mock-up of the Phenom 300 light jet.
“Indian visitors will have an opportunity, for the first time, to see and experience all of the comfort and luxury of the Lineage 1000,” said Jose Eduardo Costas, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Asia Pacific – Executive Jets. “We will also have the Phenom 300 jet, which has been a big success worldwide, and will go into operation in India in the next few years.”
India’s Invision Projects Pvt. Ltd. has an order for 18 Phenom 100 and two Phenom 300 jets. Another Phenom customer in the country is Aviators India Pvt. Ltd., which provides executive aviation services and has purchased two Phenom 100s.
Following the four-day exhibit at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel, Embraer will participate in the Aero India 2009 air show, in the city of Bangalore, February 11-15. At that time, the Company will promote its wide-ranging portfolio of executive jets, consisting of the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets (entry level and light categories), the new Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 (midlight and midsize, respectively), the popular Legacy 600 (super midsize), and the luxurious Lineage 1000 (ultra-large). All of the jets are best-in-class, offering superior comfort, excellent performance, and low operating costs.
