After 10 year hiatus, Sheremetyevo set to reopen
Following a ten year long reconstruction of Sheremetyevo (SVO), once considered the business aviation gateway to Moscow, is set to reopen by the end of the year. The reconstruction project includes a brand new toll highway linking the airport with the city, three FBOs, a dedicated helipad, two parallel runways and easy slots for business jets. Future developments include a revamp of the airspace with new STARs, SIDs and QNH-based approaches by April 2015. The construction of a third parallel runway is also in the works. In celebration of the launch, Streamline OPS is offering up to 25% cheaper turnarounds for the remainder of the year.
