Nextant looks forward to Jetexpo
Nextant Aerospace plans to bring a Nextant 400XTi light jet to the static display of next week’s JetExpo, taking place at Vnukovo-3 in Moscow, Russia. The remanufacturer appointed FortAero Baltic Business Aviation Alliance in June 2013 as its exclusive sales agent for Russia and the CIS. In the same month, FortAero ordered two 400XTi. “After operating both aircraft for nine months and with over 800 hours flown, we are confident that the Nextant 400XTi is perfectly suited for this market,” comments FortAero CEO Vadim Opryshko. “We have seen some significant interest from potential buyers.” According to a company statement, the Nextant 400XTi doesn’t have the same issues as traditional light jets, due to their limited range. With its range of 2,003 nm, the 400XTi connects Moscow with Novosibirsk and Tashkent with London in one haul. The company also expects its upcoming G90XT to prove valuable for the region, as its short runway capabilities are ideally suited for special missions in the region’s oil, gas and mining industries.
